This was a really fun story and really developed in a fun and scary way! Loved the scares and spooks and how the player is given control for the friends part and makes one feel a real sense of doom and dread weighing down on them. It was fun and a great crafted experience!
This is the scariest Spooktober entry I played yet… You did such a good job with the atmosphere, the sound design, the slow, slow timing and mounting dead. It felt like playing through a Ju-On movie with all these ominous interior shots as CGs and the jumpscare expectation at every turn.
The story was really well-done too (and pretty sad!!), the whole 2000s social media x teenage loneliness worked really well. Thank you for making it!

Very cool game! And it very much deserves the praise. I guess what I appreciate the most are the CGs - there are so many of them! Even for filling a water glass XD That's impressive! And the fact that it was made by one person really makes it stand out (lol, it's also kind of fitting)
Also, cool dynamics visuals with the GUI! (I want to press click on the spam XDDD) I also dig Petra's design. She's different, for sure.

I won't say I got scared because, not really that easy to disturb. But I did get a rush from the final jumpscare. Great idea with the waiting dots on the final message. That's the right way to do a jumpscare. Kudos.
Besides, even if the rest of the story didn't get me jumpy, this has some good gimmicks and the right feel. I especially liked all the dialogues with the grandma.
Not sure about the 3D monster (or title screen). It feels tacky more than uncanny. That would be my one feedback: switching to 2D only.
I got the bad end, of course. I started giving friend requests only to the people I thought likeable first. By the time I realized where this was going, I started giving requests to everyone I didn't like XD (The fedora dude needs to die...)
Also, I can't help thinking Chelsea... she was in a party... so Petra did just condemn her to die...

i felt so horrible about this, maybe i just connect with characters too easily but god this felt like actually being.. god i felt so useless, it felt like being too close to a waterfall's end and desperately swimming against it knowing you're going to die
the art is also so cute! petra's design/the artstyle/the computer it all looks so cute! but it all felt bittersweet knowing it was horror game, Petra only having one friend and not being in the person's best friends.. just a subtle detail but it made it all the much worse, especially after being abandoned by everyone.. it felt lonely even with the guy trying to encourage
and THE SOUND ughh the knocks in the window felt odd,the grandma talking about the crickets whispering also put me on edge (maybe because im hearing crickets rn lol)
and the window god it freaked me so much, it's eyes just it's eyes..
and i can't help but hate tony or whatver the ghosts name is, she was so nice and even empathized with his crispy ass and he still killed her, you know what? at first i felt bad but, he deserved it his bullies did nothing wrong. i can see why he doesn't have friends
overall: i loved it! seems she's gonna be in another game, can't wait to see it!
honestly this game was one of the few games that kept me on my feet and i love it. Petra was also a pretty cool character especially when she tries to sympathize with josh. loved it and will love to play it again to see if there is a different ending just during the day.
What a creepy sort of nostalgic game lol. Love the premise and the use of sound was really well done. Lovely art as well and the "ghost" using a separate style was a fantastic decision. Best of luck my fav for Spooktober so far! Here's my playthrough -
An AMAZING game! It kept me on my toes for a while. Love the internet-interactive system. Great character build with great lines and great story! That part where Petra turns on the lights and then Josh (the evil spirit) turns them back off immediately scared the living daylights out of me, but somehow was still able to get more of a psychology feel than a jumpscare was great, since my favorite horror genre is psychology horror. That scene really gave me ptsd, of course, it wasn't just that scene, all the other scenes where the evil spirit is shown peeking at Petra also gave me ptsd (which is a good thing in this case). One of my worst fears is to have a humanoid creature peek at me through corners, door frames, closets, etc. Really love this game! 10/10 for me, keep up the Amazing work! Definitely WILL recommend to my friends (or even 15 other people lol).
I LOVED THIS!!!! petra is so sweet, and the fact that she tried sympathizing with the monster only for her efforts to be hopeless really hit me, this is so well made and written (also i love petras design !!!! ) such a cool game :)
This was so freaking cool, I loved how most of the game is played in a computer screen chatting. Also, the increasing unease you feel between Petra's check ups on the granny and the slow but steady appearances of THAT are very well done, it was so spooky!!
The spam messages also took me back down memory lane, I remember I used to be scared of those at first xD Building a whole horror game around that concept is really cool!! The art was fantastic as well, great work!!💕

Kinda frustrating tho to not have real controls. wich is why i minus the project a bit cause it's almost just a """ visual novel """ and not a game because of that. Even tho it's almost a game too.
How does that change my first and most important statement ? Visual novel or not the game should have more interaction and possible actions into it, otherwise it's not a game period that's a fact tha tnto debatable at best it's just a book and even then some books have more interaction and actions build into them so kinda ironic.
Now i won't say anything on the visual novel genra cause i bet you see where im coming from and personnaly i dont like trash marketing bs wich allow mediocre products to be normalised and even worst justifying them.
Reading is great but playing or watching is something completly different.
